Saturday Links

Because I believe in sharing cool stuff that you find online, here’s what I’ve been reading/listening to/thinking about/ etc, etc, etc.

Enjoy!

The Gospel Coalition Women’s Conference Podcasts – I can’t tell you how happy I am to find a group of women who are aren’t afraid to go deeper in to the Bible. No fluff, no cutesy stuff, “just” Bible. Awesome.

This is adorable.

It’s a good thing I live so close to Brazil because I want one of these.

Winter? Summer? What is this?

Our winter has been pretty mild, and we couldn’t be happier about it! It does make me wonder though…does a warm winter mean a SUPER HOT summer? Because that wouldn’t be cool. (Pun not intended. I’m not that nerdy.)

Other than painting ourselves with mud, we’ve been up to a lot of good things. The girls go to school at Grandma’s house (Aunt Jewel is their teacher) for three days a week. Elena can read! Abbie is learning to read! Lexi can….pee in the potty! BIG stuff!

On the mornings they are gone I can run errands with Brian, practice driving our stick shift (gulp. I hate driving. So annoying, but it must be done! Right?) I also read, work on my pictures, clean or organize the house, visit people from church…it’s really very nice, but then I start missing my girls.

My biggest goal this month has been to get up before the girls. Reading the Bible and exercising every day makes the world an easier place to live in, as far as I’m concerned. So far, I’ve been falling flat on my face and staying in bed till the girls are chomping at the bit in their bedroom. But we’ll keep trying.

23 more days till vacation. Just sayin’.

Do you ever have so much to do that you freeze? As in, you have time to do it, you just don’t know where to begin?

That’s where I’m at.

Frozennnn….

I know what I need to do, I just don’t know where to begin.

But, vacation is coming up soon (our first real vacation in three years) and its all I can think about.

YAY.

I hope I come back refreshed and with a new brain.
