1. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, green beans, dinner rolls, sweet potatoe casserole with marshmellow topping, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, strawberry pie, and apple pie.

‘Nuff said.

2. I was able to get the house all decoated for christmas, and it looks great! Especially the mantle!

3. A shopping trip planned for later today. I’m not sure if I will find anything, but just a day out with girlfriends sounds nice to me!

4. Watching a group of kids play with my parent’s Wii. It’s just too much fun to watch people swing at things in the air.

5. A romantic dinner with Brian outside after a long day. He made me Fetuccini Alfredo. Yummy…is pasta a love language??

Hot Dogs

Thank you Husband for buying me really big hot dogs. (I like mine with corn on it, just like the Paraguayans!) And a really big thank you for not caring if I eat the WHOLE thing REALLY fast. It doesn’t seem to bother you that I can out eat most men. And for that I am eternally grateful.

Day Number Three of Sick Children.

My brain has turned into mashed potatoes.

We’re off to rent more Dora the Explorer videos and hoping that tomorrow brings healthy children.

A glimpse into my day

Husband is discipling two teenagers at our kitchen table.

Abster is taking nap in her room.

Fripits is helping me put finishing touches on our Christmas tree. (Yup. Before Thanksgiving.)

Fan is blowing the warm air around the house.

Life is good.

1. My new camera! My new camera! Did I mention my new camera?? It’s incredible and complicated but I’m having a lot of fun learning. I would also like to thank Husband for ignoring the pile of dirty laundry as I obsess with it. 🙂

2. Homemade ice cream sandwiches at my mom’s house. My sister made chocolate chip cookies (my favorite!) a scoop of chocolate chip ice cream, wrapped them in tin foil and popped them in the freezer for a few minutes. Sticky, drippy goodness after a dip in the pool. Summer is here and we are making the best of it.

3. Buying some cute Christmas decorations and hearing the Fripits talk excitedly about the “Cripus” tree. Also, I think the Absters fear of snowmen is really cute.

4. A shoe box full of peanut butter cups in my freezer. These were sent to me by my mother in law and make a great snack after I wake up from my nap. Ahhh…a little luxury.

5. Free photoshop actions which give a fun, edgy look to my pictures. Loving these!
